In this two session workshop series, young adults learn essential life skills needed to succeed in school, college and beyond. Learning the importance of making a positive first impression, students will participate in interactive, engaging activities, including a 30 second elevator pitch, formal dining experience, practice interviews, and safe and savvy Internet navigation skills. Each class is two hours.
CLASS ONE

• exercising safe social media use
• what to post vs. what not to post on the Internet
• writing a proper email
• the pitfalls of excessive time spent online
• the do’s and don’ts of texting
• when to put down the smartphone
